Miami is playing super smart defense. Let Westbrook run wild and stop everyone else. When your starting point guard is no threat from including others and is the only one scoring it fucks up the rythm of the game for the team. OKC is barely passing, it seems that whoever is dribbling upcourt takes a shot. Lame offense. Sure there have been some tick tack calls, but the Heat are playing a more team oriented aggressive game. The other team is bound to foul more when their opponent is passing more.
Westbrook scoring 43 means that he is not dishing out any assists, is not running point and not including his team. He is killing his squad.

He tore them up but didn't do a thing for his team involving them as a PG should do. He made defending the rest of the 4 easy because he never passed to them.
Now as for the NBA wanting Miami to win. It doesn't make sense. OKC is a young team with solid talent that grow the sport in that area, why wouldn't they want them to win?
