I doubt pulling a firearm would be justifiable.  I do like the suggestions of the restraint moves that could be painful, but certainly not Offensive attacks.

He would have to articulate his ass of as to why he used deadly force.  Physical size, one on one, she stopped "beating" (pussy) him, etc.  In what way was he afraid for his life?  I would say he could have just socked the shit out of her and called it good.  The guy in the background would probably call racism and begin punching the white guy in defense of his sister there. 

Not being racist just sayin'.
