Those are some of the qualities of a "hardcore gym". I like to add, dust, chalk, grease, and duct or electrical tape on the seats, or preacher curl pad. Weathered belts, head harnesses. Dead roaches, wasps, ants, and assorted beetles in the corners, near the windows, and in the bathroom.

There was an ongoing joke amongst the regular members of a 'hardcore' gym I attended about 5 years back about the lack of hygiene (to put it mildly) and we came to the conclusion that it hasn't been cleaned for months. One guy bought a protein bar and chewed half of it and left the other mangled half next to the cables. No word of a lie, it was there 8 months or so later covered in dust and the milk chocolate had turned white and powdery lol  :-X
