I work with kids between 14 and 21, and the last few years about all of them got tattoos. I really dislike tats, just think they are ugly.
Who of you GBers got a tat, what does it look like, why did you get it and don't you have regrets ?

i have zero tats, altho my girl asks me 2 or 3 times a year since we been dating to get one , and i keep giving her the same answer, FUCK NO!
worst one, was a kid i saw at my friends house(black) for a bbq, his son was playing with the neighbor (also black kid)who was about 8 or 10 years old and that little shit had a shoulder tattoo :-\

I have one small tattoo of my own meaning.. Got it like...6years ago. Never regretted that. Most probably I'll get some more.. want a half or full-sleeve made out of symbols/drawings (enhanced by a professional artist) that have personal meanings to me. I see tattoos to be the same cult as bodybuilding is.. it's about transformation of your body. Good tattoos are nice to watch at, and if they suit the personality/style - it's all good.

i got a cross on my left hand, and a cross on my right tricep. got them both in 1975

no regrets.
most people dont have regrets. so long as they dont get any fad tattoo( superman, sun, tribal bands, barwire, etc.) and no where that will effect their marketability in the job market. (face, neck, hands, maybe forarms, etc.)

Both sleeves done and several others. Began getting inked over 20 yrs ago. No regrets at all. I will continue to get more. They are not for everyone. Either you like them or hate them.

Tats are gay. I love it when people are showing off their tattoos and I start showing my scars. This one was from a 100mph motorcycle crash, this one was from a monkey knife fight, this one was from a run in with a blood member while in Attica. My favorite scars go across my back from when I was captured and tortured by Al qaeda before I was able to escape with the skills I learned on team 6. Then the douche's with their tattoo's quickly role down their sleeves and walk away in shame.
