Another flip-flop by Romney which shows how desperate he is....after initially calling the fee for not having insurance under Obama's healthcare law, an "unconstitutional penalty", Romney now flip-flops just two days later and calls it a tax...
not to mention, Romney under this healthcare bill in Massachusetts favored the the same individual mandate that Obama did in his plan...
the hypocrisy continues :D

repubs are right - he does need a heavyweight team. All he does is tread water, avoid conflict, make vague statements, and try to keep up with obama.
If you think about it, obama has been making OFFENSIVE moves with DREAM and winnin SCOTUS last week. Romney's big moves have been what in the last month?

Good point......I didn't see it that way, but you are right....Obama has been making offensive moves and moving forward.......and the whole healthcare thing has been a shot in the arm and also has changed the subject from the economy......if the economy just improves a little, Obama will be good to go

Question for legal tweeps: Obama campaign is now denying that administration SG ever argued that Obamacare mandate is a tax.
Looking at oral arguments, SG Verrilli said mandate is 'justifiable under its tax power.' Can't find him saying 'It is a tax'…
So therefore: Is Obama hiding behind legal hairsplitting, arguing mandate is constitutional under tax power but is not actually a tax?

He wasn't killed in the GOP primaries. Besides, with WHAT is Obama going to counter? He raised taxes on the American people, something he said he wouldn't do.
Where is Obama going to go on this one?

He's now the TOP aide in the romney camp. The CTer in me just wonders if he's TRYING to sink Romney, so santorum can be a frontrunner in 2012. If romney wins in 2012, he may win in 16, or lose, but it'll be 8 to 12 years before Santorum has another chance at the white house.
It's only 2 years til santorum starts campaigning again (IF ROmney loses this time).

What you don't seem to get is that THE SUPREME COURT ruled that it's a tax, which the Obama team argued in court.
So why should Obama get a second term, when he did the very thing he said he wouldn't do to the middle class (not to mention his utter FAILURE at the whole jobs thing)?
