Here are some pics from the Top 5. EVERYONE was in great condition. These are from the video. I'll be getting the DVD some time in the future and will post those when I can. (I know there is a better version of Dorian's routine on youtube, but these are pics from the whole contest.)

Nasser in fdb looks very good
And in the ab thigh he looks really great
But IMO, his waist there in every other pose was REALLY wide, widest I've seen it

Lol, I think you should reconsider your statement for Nasser.
BTW, everyone bitches about Dorians deformed arm, Im surprised no one bitches about Nassers deformed lower back, it looks like whole muscle groups are missing or oddly shaped.

Wrong. i'm no Dorian fan but he crushed everyone on stage that night, he was gigantic and hard as nails.

I have seen some of these Grand Prix's from 96. It's not even a contest for first. You can look at photos all day and pick this and that but onstage under lights conditioning is king. Dorian is light years ahead of them all.

I have Yates 1st and Kevin Second from the pics. Nasser just has no back what so ever, it looks like he's missing everything from the back.

Yes lets dissregard muscle shape, structure and balance.
Nobody looks that balanced to be honest, too much oil and lacking parts but Ronnie looked best here.

yeah ronnie pre total mutation looked great ,,can tell by face and neck alone how he changed as he got bigger,grand prix shows were also great due to the bbers can eat up and lose some of ther etotally dried out olympia look and be a bit fuller,,thats how yates looked his best before and after the mr o looked full and freaky ...great show there.

Call me a nut hugger but outside of Dorian, Ronnie looks the best. Better than Nassole, better than Levrone and better than Dillet. If Dorian had biceps...

Yeah, Dorian's arms were really undersized from the front and back in 1996.

Dorian looked great in 1991, 1992 and 1993 after that i though he declined considerably.

Nassar looks the biggest- from the front. But Yates eats him alive from the back. I agree Ronnie could have been top 2 here. Dillet looks mutant-but so does Levrone-look at his arms in the side chest shot!

Ronnies back was already far superior to Dorian in 96
that BDB of yates v Nasser- its very close, Dorian is not dominating nasser the way Nasser owns Dorian in all other poses
dorian was lucky to have placed 6th- this was a more realistic placing for him in that show- another gift from his hometown judges

No way is ronnie ready to beat yates there, looked good enough for 3rd or 2nd at best
Yates' back couldn't look like a sheet of paper, even if he did his prep in a concentration camp .
Dorian had flaws, but he was the best

some ppl here are exaggerating how great ronnie was in this year.. sure he was very good and one of the most improved bbr in this time but still needed some size to go with the very top guys.. IMO at most he could be put before dillett but not a chance with the top 3.. as in this below shot his back (his best part) was still relatively narrow and lacking size,.. nothing comparable to what he reached 2 years later.. levrone owns him clearly in this RLS shot!!..

Ronnie's first win came in 1995 Canada Pro , Ronnie came into his own by 1996 and was beating Flex
I've said for years Ronnie looked outstanding in 1996 he already had the size ( 250lbs ) he just needed to dial in
