The question is not if... it's how much and when.  I am erring towards more in the morning.  I drink about a liter at a time and try to average about one fluid ounce per gram of protein minimum.  So if I consume 220 grams of protein, that's 220 ounces which is about 6.5 liters (liter bottle below which I fill from my firm's water cooler all day, no need to pay for Evian).  There's no science behind it I admit, it's just an easy to remember rule of thumb.
