So here is how this really went down....

Black dude crosses the road - its red.
Police guys sees this.

He can now make two choices - 1) I will not look away but do my job and tell the guy that he could hurt himself 2) I pretend I didn't see it.

Option 1 it is.

He: Sir - can you come over here please? Sir you just crossed the road...
Black Guy: What? Don't you have better things todo? Don't you have real criminals to catch blah blah blah...
Cop: Sir can I ask you please to calm down, I am giving you a citation for...
Black Guy: WHAT THIS IS OUTRAGIUS MAN, YOU ONLY DO THIS BECAUSE I AM BLACK!!!! BLAH BLAH BLAH
Cop: Sir i need you to calm down.

Camera goes on
Black Guy: FUCK YOU PIG, AND FUCK YOUR OPRESSIVE GOVERNMENT I AM A FREE BLACK MAN
Cop: Sir can i see your papers please?
Black Guy: Fuck you i'm giving you nothing

What these assholes don't understand is that the cop doesn't have a choice, he cannot just turn around and say GET OUT OF HERE!!! he has to act now, there are bystanders he will loose the most valuble thing on his job which is respect, now the asshole has put himself in a pace were he has to be taken down.

You get that?

This may be the case (or not) but would you agree that there are other ways to subdue a person without tasing them, considering it can lead to death? I mean, it appears than an alternative method may produce the same result without such drastic measures.
