Obama’s Bain Bust: New Gallup Poll Finds 63% Say Romney’s Business Background Will Help Him Govern The Economy, Only 29% Disagree
WASHINGTON – Despite concerted Democratic attacks on his business record, Republican challenger Mitt Romney scores a significant advantage over President Obama when it comes to managing the economy, reducing the federal budget deficit and creating jobs, a national USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds.
By more than 2-1, 63%-29%, those surveyed say Romney’s background in business, including his tenure at the private equity firm Bain Capital, would cause him to make good decisions, not bad ones, in dealing with the nation’s economic problems over the next four years.
The findings raise questions about Obama’s strategy of targeting Bain’s record in outsourcing jobs and hammering Romney for refusing to commit to releasing more than two years of his tax returns. Instead, Americans seem focused on the economy, where disappointment with the fragile recovery and the 8.2% unemployment rate are costing the president.

It HAS worked. ROmney isn't talking about his bain experience as much. He has to walk on eggshells now - and it was his strongest selling point.
Can't run on gov record (AWB and romneycare), can't run on border security (DREAM), can't run on being the economic guru (oh really? Tell us about that 2002 bain paycheck and board meeting...)
As you saw yesterday, he's now running on "we built that" - against an obama quote. His platform is not what he is, it's what obama is not. Can't win on that alone.

What are you talking about? Romney's skewering Obama on that quote is an extension of the fact that Obama doesn't have a clue as to how to create jobs.
Obama's tried that mess about Bain for two months; yet it has had virtually NO EFFECT, as he is still basically tied with Romney. For all the money he's blown, this was a BUST.
