Unfunded social security, pensions, retiree healthcare for civvies and military, medicare, etc.
According to a wise man on Morning Joe.
THis number was 20.4 trillion in the year 2000.
Toss in Bush's elective wars and obama's entitlement spending, and our debt has gone from 20 to 70 trillion in the last 12 years of drunken spending.

the debt clock is only a small portion of this bigger number. Everyone knows the debt clock. most people are not aware of this side of it.

Those are obligations....basically if everyone collected what was promised....Truthfully, that simply just won't happen

And not to mention state pension obligations of at least 2-4 Trillion with no way to pay for it.

So is the debate about our debt over now? Its never gonna be repaid

The govt. is waiting for the elderly and those close to being elderly to die and let the demographics equalize. I don't think we have that kind of time.

I can see the damage Obama has done, but I really can't stand these fools that excuse, or ignore all the damage Bush did.

Is Bush running this year? So why vote for Obama again?

There is no excusing. Bush was a massive fuck up. But since many of us now understand that politicians are puppets it would not have mattered who was in office. Obama is a puppet like all the other ones before him. Kennedy was the last real President. And looked what happened to him.

I realize this fact. I just find it frustrating how everyone was blind to our national debt crisis until Obama was elected. Now suddenly people care about the issues that "conspiracy nuts" have been shouting about for the last decade.

Obama ran on the debt as an issue remember?

Sickening, I know
I believe you woke up to the destruction of America prior to Obama becoming President if I'm not mistaken?

Bush and Romney have both supported assault weapons ban. ROmney signed one into law. bush let it ride for 3 years and said he would keep it if he could.
Obama has done neither. So yeah, bush/romney do have that anti-gun streak in common.
