Title: Romney's Public Service
Post by: Dos Equis on July 25, 2012, 06:04:08 PM
I read that he didn't take a salary when he ran the Olympics or when he was Massachusetts governor.  A small, but impressive gesture on his part.  (Small because he's worth so much money.)

I also read he and his staff took all their computers home when he was governor (and maybe at the Olympics too) so there is very little if any record of what they are were doing

Damn. Next thing you know he'll be prosecuting whistle blowers like the Usurper and the most "transparent administration" in history do.

I'm sure you'd have no problem if when Obama left office he just packed up the computers and took them home

romney was still attending Bain board meetings and being issued paychecks from 99 to 2000.

So he didn't miss the salary.

Remember when Bush's white house "accidentally" erased 4 million emails, the entire public record of their presidency?

Wait til obama tries that trick.  Sure, you can have the emails with subject line "F&F: Let's do this..."
Ah, shit, looks like the new tech erased all the RAID drives on the most important servers on earth.  My bad.

He stated in a debate that he worked there 25 years

Let's do some math

Bain Capital was founded in 1984 but Romney started working at Bain and Company in 1977

1977 + 25 = 2002

So by Willard's own admission he left Bain in 2002
