Title: Coach will Probably Approve of Antoine Vaillant Cardio session

HIIT CARDIO

Personally, I am a big believer in doing cardio. In the past I would do normal cardio, medium paced for longer periods of time. It did work, but now I know that HIIT cardio can be alot more beneficial to the heart, body and physique than the old school way of doing it! GET RIPPPEDDDD!

CATABOLIC VS ANABOLIC

Jogging, steppers, treadmill, walking…. All that shit does not build muscle. Let’s look at a sprinter compared to a swimmer or a long distance runner. One looks like he needs to eat and the other looks JACKED. Sprinters have awesome muscular bodies… why? SPRINTS! They build their muscle for explosiveness and strenght.

Jogging for over 30 minutes can actually make you lose muscle if you are not careful. Barely no tension at all for loooooooooooong periods of time…I use the prowler or the sleigh when I do my HIIT…. And you have EXTREME tension on the muscle for SHORT periods of time… just like when you want to build muscle in the gym… Let’s take the barbell curl, ALOT of tension on the biceps for a SHORT period of time.. it’s the same thing.. you will notice when you push the prowler for sprint intervals, you will get huge quad pumps and your legs will grow.

THE HEART AND THE TRAINING

The heart will actually raise way higher than doing long distance cardio, so I believe it can actually train him better than the usual cardiovascular exercises. Since I do the HIIT on the prowler, I am INVINCIBLE in the gym. I rarely get winded. The reason is that since the HIIT is similar to lifting weights, it trains you to recover from the intense sets. You will see… you will become a machine J

HOW I DO IT :

I usually put 2 plates of 45 on the prowler… depends what the friction is on the synthetic turf though.. or if you are outside on concrete. You should have enough weight to get a good leg pump, but light enough so you can still sprint FAST. Ok here is the pattern :

PUSH 30 YARDS

REST 20 SEC

PUSH 30 YARDS

REST 20 SEC

PULL 30 YARDS

REST 3 MIN

Do it 5 times like that… The result is a dead Nicky Boy

THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX

The other day I wanted to do my HIIT without using my legs since they we’re too sore and still beat up from leg training. I used bicep curls and tricep extensions with the sleigh.. IT WORKED! Here is a video where I do them :

hahahah what a fucking tool! pretty sure half the highschoolers at my gym do triples on deadlift every now and then... and without feeling the need film themselves inscribing "pain" on their belt beforehand. ::)

Why? He's correct.

First and foremost, he´s BARELY right, unless we are talking about really reeally heavy HIIT cardio, no amount of cardiovascular training is ever anabolic, so I dont even know what his "heavy HIIT" means, is it as in, almost doing progressive overloading of muscle, aka, weightlifting?

Second of all, even if it was a little, marginal, minimum anabolic, he, and you, commit the most basic fallacy because correlation does not imply causation.

Sprinters looked jack because they use PEDs, they also lift weights.  Runners look like twigs because they need to have little muscle mass, not because running per se ruins muscle mass or anything like that.  This is like the first mistake people make while watchingn the Olympics. LOLOL LOOK AT THAT SPRUNTER, SPRINTING MUST GET YOU HUEG!!11

I feel sorry for your handle in this board.

Ok. On a phone now. But obviously you've been reading too much "flex" and "muscular.development". Be more than happy to tear your post apart later.

Before you post your next post, are you saying some high intensity cardiovascular activity will result on net protein muscle growth directly vecause of it?

Wow, that was really.good  ::) but no. Look to your bodies energy systems then look at his intervals then.look at what energy system a marathon runner is in a constant state of. This is something I've been.preaching for years

Coach, I respect your knowledge but are you saying these "awesome muscular bodies" can be attributed to "sprints"?

Are you saying the difference in these two physiques can be attributed to "running marathons vs. sprinting"?

Coach - What is your position on the GOP dropping the liberal Mitt (Romneycare, assault weapons ban, etc) and choosing another repub to run against obama?  If so, who should they choose?

There were 21 GOP Presidential nominations where there was no sitting incumbent running for President of the United States.  In 13 of these instances, the presumptive nominee won the nomination at the convention, but only 4 became President in the November general election.

However, of the 8 brokered conventions where someone OTHER than the presumptive candidate won the GOP nomination – 7 went on to become President.

Its so difficult to take any personal trainer serious these days, since so many elite athletes are using PEDs. So you have this trainer who promises you this and that and claims you can become this and that, but fails to leave out the most important part of the equation: PEDs.

You're so fucking stupid. That is not what I meant. This is no surprise considering you think the earth is only 10,000 years old.

What I meant, and if you had a brain in your head, you would understand is that so many personal trainers promise the AVERAGE laymen all those unrealistic goals. They tell them they will become great stars, make it to the pros, get a great body, etc. What they fail to leave out is that those that make it that far are either using PED's, are among the genetic elite or both. But personal trainers promise the average laymen the world in order to steal their money, which makes it difficult for the average person to see what trainer is the real deal and what trainer is trying to steal their money.

IF you had a brain in your head, you could have read between the lines, instead of me spelling out every single detail for you.

dude, walk inside any gym, like LA Fitness or Ballys lol. Bunch of quacks. I heard this one personal trainer telling this 17 year old to buy every supplement behind the counter so he can get HUGE, like the guys in the magazines lol haha. It happens all the time in these gyms. Maybe not among the elite, highly trained personal trainer, who train pro teams and pro athletes. But trainers all around the world "scam" people out of money. Are you that fucking stupid that you do not realize that?  ::) ::)

Coach is trying to protect his own business. He hopes to be the first "honest" third-rate con man so he wants to believe whatever suits his situation (exactly as he will refute any scientific proof which doesn't fit creationism or whatever other bigotry he's into). I've heard PTs spewing that type of BS almost every time I walked into a gym and I'm there at least three times a week. So you do the math.

haha, what a great statement. Pure brilliance  ::) ::)

I never claimed to be an expert in touching sweaty men like yourself. However, there are honest, hard working people who are being scammed out of money by these trainers. The problem is that many people have the same pathetic credentials as you, thus its hard to see who is the real deal and who isnt. I mean, look at your degrees or certifications. Most anyone with half a brain can get those degree and hang them up on their wall. But in reality, you really dont know who is a good trainer and who isnt, until a few months down the line after you spent a few hundreds bucks, if not more.

If the average person walks into a gym or fitness center or whatever, how do they know they are getting scammed from the get-go? As I said, so many other trainers have the same shitty credentials and degrees and certificates as you.

They have the sense to not commit to anything until they've researched what they've heard.  If they don't, it's on them.
