These stats are fascinating. Toss in the real-life facts that the majority of Repubs don't like Mitt... Makes you wonder...
There were 21 GOP Presidential nominations where there was no sitting incumbent running for President of the United States. In 13 of these instances, the presumptive nominee won the nomination at the convention, but only 4 became President in the November general election.
However, of the 8 brokered conventions where someone OTHER than the presumptive candidate won the GOP nomination – 7 went on to become President.

Yet you still can't answer why Obama should be reelected. Doesn't matter if the repubs hate Romney or not, they still know he's the better choice.

He shouldn't be.
The pint is that romney is a poor candidate. Jeb/Rubio would be DESTORYING obama in the polls.
I think you confuse my historically accurate believe that "Romney probably won't win" with an endorsement of obama - and it's not.
Republicans have a candidate that most dislike, that moderates don't like. He probably won't win - as you can read above, he stands a 20% chance of winning.
HOWEVER, if the repubs are smart enough to put a jeb or another winner at the top of the ticket - there is a 88% chance they WOULD win.
These are historical statistics. He's not the incumbent, and people don't liek him - and statistically he will probably lose - but Jeb woudl win.
