Post by: animal1991 on August 06, 2012, 06:39:06 AM
Article:

Disclaimer:
I'm not a HIT advocate, I mean training one day a week is ridiculous, but the only real thing that interested me was the fat loss.

The men started their diet on 1700 kCal and the women 1400 kCal. They lowered their calories by 100 kCal every 2 weeks over the 10 week experiment.

Signifecent fat loss was noted as well as some muscle gain...

Discuss...

If you have to say you're not a troll you are a troll.

I don't see the big revelation in decreasing calories while lifting heavy led to a decrease in body fat. Many times these "experiments" are done to achieve the results they want. For example if you take a guy that's not training or working out in any way for months and put him on any lifting program he will gain muscle. Use a bunch of experience dedicated currently training drug free lifters and put them on "your" magic program of lifting you might not see any measurable change.
