Movie was fucking awesome. When he puts the shoe polish on Gene Wilder and teaches him to be black, that shit was funny as hell. "Why you whitey's always walk wit cho ass so tight?" If those two were still alive and gettin it, race relations would be better. It seems the 70's were the peak of white/black relations, but maybe it's just because I wasn't alive then and don't know how it really was. :-\

Wiggs why does the title be "best TV comedy duo"? because you saw the film on TV? have you ever "been to the movies"? ???

Hands down, one of the funniest, maybe THE funniest, scene in any comedy movie. The cop, Pryor, Wilder...they're all fantastic.
Pryor closing it the way he does cracks me up every time. There are maybe 10-15 scenes in a movie that can always make me laugh no matter how often I watch them. This is easily one of the best of them.

Yes, Richard Pryor and Gene Wilder were the best back in the day.
Gene Wilder is one of the greatest ever.
Back in the day when nobody cared what blacks did in and outside the ghetto, nobody used bath salts, and people actually thought blacks and jews would get along just fine.
Ahhh, those were the days.
Very good memories from that era, the 70s and early 80s were the best.
I am sure Wes will disagree with an "Already the ancient greeks..." but still! Things were so much more civilized back then.

these guys were a great team too.
