Title: 6 ft. and over division
Post by: canyon on August 12, 2012, 08:41:14 PM
Notice this new 212 class has been a bust, had 4 competitors at first show with this new class in Phoenix. Don't think audience is much interested either  in watching 5'3 200lbs. midgets on stage. Would be more interesting to have a 6 ft and over class, I know I would rather watch even 3rd tier pros like Sean Allen compete then any of these blown up midgets.

::yawn:: yes, we know, the midgets are horrible. By the way, a 6'0" class is a dumb idea. I mean, how much is there a difference in terms of size between a guy 6'0 and 5'10"?

Though, Tito24 would rightly approve of your post!  ;D ;D

Haven't seen a 5'10 pro competing at 202 or 212 in about 20 years. Big difference between 5'4 an 6'2.

no shit, which is why there is a separate division. Because there is a huge difference between 5'4" and 6'0"

But why make a 6'0"+ category. If you do that, you exclude all the bodybuidlers who are 5'11 and 5'10" As I said, not much difference in terms of size betweeen a 6'0" bodybuilder and one that is 5'11"

Than you'd make it near impossible for a shorter person to win without being in the tall category. If it were six foot and over, you'd get a very different physique on stage.

But fuck it this idea is crazy, it wouldn't be believable people over 6 foot don't look athletic, it's a waste of time.
