David Hockney, one of Britains foremost modern multimillionaire artists (him along with Emin and Hirst), has recently done an exhibition at the Tate Gallery entirely done on his iPad.

Modern art, not sure I like it... This crap iPad Hockey thing for sure is some lame scrawl.

Google on your iPad:
Hockney Tate Gallery London iPad

Most young photographers nowadays are doing it all via their iPad also.  It's the happening thing.

I don't know.  Usually if I have a pic, I tend to email it to a computer, then post it from there.  Not exactly sure how it would work with an IPad with this forum.

Not that I've found. There's Ron's method, or you could upload the image to Photobucket or other hosting site and link it from there.
This limitation is rather surprising for the technology.

Yeah, I like my iPad, but I don't cream my shorts at every Apple announcement.

In fact, I just bought my first Apple product (iPad II) in June, which was quite some time after its release. I researched it, compared its features to other models, and spoke with several people who own one. I would never pre-order anything, or rush out to buy a new release simply because it's new.

Had I hurried and bought the latest iPhone 5, I'd have been pissed.
