He is a homely little man whose "acting" is far from appealing. That he is rich does not negate the aforementioned facts. Good for him. I just don't care for his "acting". He's like Woody Allen: Homely and mildly talented. Many people think otherwise and that is fine. I vote with my wallet.
-
he is popular because 1) twinks identify with him 2) dudes with some game like him because their chick realizing they're an alpha and the dude on the screen is a beta.
It's like claire daines.... a normal girl that chicks would identify with... and obtainable by the average guy. I mean, jessica biel is fun to look at, but girls be hating on her the entire movie.

Hehe. Really!? Do you use stilted language in the real world, too?
-
Damn @ jcvd, he looks bitter as as ex-wife. You can tell he wants nothing to do with Leno. Eight years in obscurity. I hope he'll get a couple of flicks after this but I doubt it.

If you consider that to be "stilted", then yes. But of course one can dumb it down to fit the audience. As I knew you would be reading my words there was no need for that. It is well known that chimps are well versed in a variety of languages, second only to parrots if memory serves. ;D
-
shit leboeuf has no talent. He s absolutely pathetic in every single movie i ve seen him. But he s a spoiled nerdy jew from a rich family with connections, that's why he s "acting".

Memorized vocabulary. But point taken, and point scored. ;D

He annoys the shit outta me. He has a nice face I'd like to punch.
Anyone have that video phone footage of him drunk and acting like he was about to fight outside a bar? It's a couple of years old I think.

Go Dunny! Go finished with a puck and ball turny here. Crazy beer tent. Crazy fights. Craziness all around. But the Dunny makes it look like a 4-year old's birthday party. Start warming up your liver!

Ha! No kidding. If you're in the area, I'll be under the Maryland LEO flag. Have some pints and tell each other lies. ;D

Well, to be fair, acting in a movie isn't some great talent. I mean, who doesn't act these days? Randy C. is in Expendables and he does as good a job as any of the veterans. So, too, does Terry Crews.
Sure, there's better and worse acting, but acting, in general, isn't some incredible talent. Even the better examples.
I love movies and have WAY more respect for the talents of the writers, directors, editors, etc.

something tells me he s never going to recover from the higlhy publicized on youtube beatdown he got from that fat drunk dude. Since then he decided to become a real tough man haha.

Movies are a medium where acting awfulness can be 'edited,' but where real talent can be 'muffled.' It's hard to be a serious actor. :-\

This high-minded attitude that thespian arts are some grand talent is horseshit. Like I say, some actors are better than others, definitely, but even the "great" actors/actresses are not super-talented beings.
It's a pretty weak artistic talent.
Now talk to me about the folks who pen screenplays, edit film, score music, direct ... those people who do these things at the top of their game are CRAZY talented.

I agree with the editing/writing - they are not paid their worth, relative to actors, but then the public decides that, don't they? The great unwashed masses must be sated! ;D
But I'll disagree on acting. There are many talented actors/actresses, and for my money, the best are what I'd call super-talented.
To rise to the top of any occupation requires an obscene amount of talent, some luck, perserverance and dedication to a craft.
Could your past as a writer/editor be clouding your objectivity? Do you have the same view of the models who stood before talented photographers for the mags while you worked? I think the photographers bring magic to the mags, but without the right model, the shoot is worthless (drawing a comparison to the writer/actor, photographer/model relationship).
PS: I thought you were a pretty good editor back in the day!

He looks like shit, hope this helps.
