do you think because I live in the bay area that somehow I wasn't effected by melting down of the stock market in 2008 or the incredibly shitty economy and crashing real estate market

somehow none of that happened here?

the RE Market in the bay area is on fire

my place is up over 100k since last year (I bought it in 2003)
