My gym bag essentials are towel,tampons, bottled water that I can refill, protein shaker cup, small container filled with protein and a measurer and a banana to eat afterwards.

Mine contains what I need for that specific session and nothing more.

Example: On deadlift day ... deadlift slippers, belt, chalk.

Nope! 10 units with a mini thin or clen and you are GREAT!!!!  Only makes you sleepy when you first start taking it. AFter a few days you can do anything on it
