Democrats are terrible at history. It's only 2012 and they are already revising what they did from 2006 until now. Complete control of both houses and the presidency and they couldn't come up with a budget plan or a decent jobs bill. Shovel ready projects, anyone?

The quote is "I would put our legislative and foreign policy accomplishment in our first two years against any president with the possible exceptions of Johnson, FDR, and Lincoln... Just in terms of what we got done."
So by saying he would put his record against theirs, then obviously he must mean he's better than all of them.

Valid question... To some extent I agree... Am I incorrect in saying that the only thing that he mentions his predecessor for is the economy?

He DID, but he doesn't say anything about Foreign policy now except that he's done more than Bush.. and I never hear him say anything about education... The economy... yes... he does still talk about Bush there and I think it's ridiculous... but on everything else I hear him talk about his administration, not Bush.

If your belief is that congress holds the purse strings, then you SHOULD vote for Obama... With him as POTUS and the republicans holding the house (and most likely getting the Senate) a nice deadlock would be good to stop spending right?

I believe that one party rule is a disaster, as proven by both reps and dems. I won't vote for Obama no matter what, being from IL, I know to much ;D. But I would go 3rd party if I don't get some real information on what they are going to do.
