Title: getbig virus suspect

this is the domain SmoothSouthernSoulAndBlu es.com
that was involved in the socalled virus problem. this domain
was involved in a redirect to the virus alert scammage.
I know because i give permissions to scripts on sites on an individual basis.
it is owned by this guy

you can't hack this forum script but leaving certain permissions open to posters
could enable what took place or an evil admin lurks within.

Buff, can your re-explain the above to stupid guys such as myself who have no idea of what you so eloquently stated to those of somewhat more intelligence?

Is Mr Davis a good guy or a bad guy?

Just want did he do to become one of the above ... and why did he do it?

The hack wasnt via SMF boards - it was via something else, which changed the htaccess files.

Nothing was ever compromised on the boards at anytime, the htaccess files was not even in those directory.


But, i needed to upgrade various items, including the boards, and other parts.  Keep in mind, it hasnt been tweaked in a few years.  Oh, it will go back to yellow colors, but with new updated script and settings.
