Luck finished his first NFL game 23 of 45 for 309 yards with a 4-yard touchdown pass to Donnie Avery early in the fourth quarter. He also was intercepted three times - twice by Tim Jennings - in an up-and-down debut for a quarterback with huge shoes to fill.
Showing a veteran's composure by scrambling only when necessary, the dynamic Redskins rookie quarterback tormented New Orleans' defense with 320 yards passing and two touchdowns in his debut, and Washington held on for 40-32 victory over the Saints on Sunday.

one of these guys will win a superbowl before cam newton. outside of that, soccer and the college game are more interesting, so i'll probably miss their ENTIRE careers, but i'm not sweating it.

RG3 is off to a great start. Saints passing defense was ranked near the bottom last year. Can't get too far ahead of ourselves with RG3 just yet. But he looks to be the future of the game.

The first game of the season almost always tells us zero about how one team is really going to be. The first game of the season is basically an extension of the pre-season imop. It's game 2 where teams start to show their hand.

It takes 5 weeks for D coordinators to figure out what that QB likes to do, then they take that away from them. Only the great QBs can beat you another way. That's why when you see the starter go down the 2nd guy runs the O up and down the field cause the D doesnt know how to play him.
