Title: Obama 2016 review
Post by: George Whorewell on September 14, 2012, 11:11:39 PM

After reading the book more than two years ago, I didn't think that the overall premise would translate particularly well onto the big screen. I was dead wrong. The movie is better and more convincing than the book. I was also pleasantly surprised to see that the movie is more up to date than the book-- news items within the past 6 months are included.

I attended a 9pm showing in Midtown Manhattan with a close friend of mine and his wife- @ 62nd street and 3rd avenue. I expected the place to be a graveyard-- It turned out to be more than half full with people.

There are several hilarious moments, many informative moments, and a handful of moments that would be hysterical if they weren't so frightening.

I was awestruck when the movie ended and about half of the moviegoers actually stood up and gave a standing ovation.

A standing ovation for a documentary critical of Obama two months before the election, in Midtown Manhattan?!

Folks, it is clear--everything that 333, myself, Fury and a handful of others have been saying since Obama was elected is unequivocally true.

The thing that frightened me more than anything is how DSouza made the point that in obamas view the US is the 1 percent and the world is the 99 percent he is trying to redistribute our power and wealth too, nothing whatsoever to do w our own poor citizens.

By the way, I am totally vindicated in my views on Egypt and Lybia and have yet to hear a peep from 180 on this.
