When I was in my 20's and very lean I always suffered cold, now that I'm fat I'm always hot
-
yes totally.
when lean i shiver easily. have to keep moving continually to keep warm. if i swim i get cold fast.
one of the few drawbacks of being cut.
-
Yes.
-
Yes when I was competing, I felt the cold alot more. I remember laying in bed next to my boyfriend and I would have all the blankets pulled up and he was laying there with no blankets. I was freezing. Bodyfat is insulation. It definitely keeps you warm.
Also I would bruise alot easier as I didn't have the padding. And sitting on wooden chairs hurt my ass. I couldn't get comfortable.
-
absolutely... as i get leaner i feel the cold more
-
Fat is definitely an insulating material.
also the surface area of a solid increases less as the volume increases, so there is less area for the heat to leak off of as you get bigger.
-
haha, i read this post and thought this is a homo posting, then i noticed its resident milf booty :D
Yes I was laying there with a man and the fat fuck was hot and I shivering all night and he let me freeze. That and his premature ejaculation saw him kicked to the curb rather quickly. ;D
-
Yes I froze to death at lower BF level's when in competition.
-
compared to when youre fatter?
ofc many permabulkers cant judge on this, but for the people who are not, this is a serious question.
so yeah, for me, the leaner i am the faster i feel cold.
when its really hot outside, i def have less issues with that than the fatsos.
do you experience the same?
is this due to bodyfat or rather due to diet?
Both

how low did you get stud?
-
Fortunately for me I don`t get cold at all when I am shredded but that`s because I am on a half a bottle of ephedrine per day ;D
-
how low did you get stud?
Maybe 6% not sure just measured my waist.
-
Absolutely. It's going to hit -40 Celsius in the next few months so I'm putting on a few pounds.

jesus where the hell do you live?

When i competed i would need to wear a shirt under my work shirt the last 6 weeks. I froze. Nowadays i stay very lean all year and cover up more i definitely feel it.
-
Yes,and add a shaved head to the mix and it's worse.
-
Not sure if it has to do with bodyfat or just weight.
When I was 16 and weighed 145 I was always freezing in the winter. 10 years later at 235 I can tolerate it and don't feel like my bones are icicles.
-
When I'm low-carbs, I get cold easy. On a carb-day, I don't get cold. Water retention helps.
Also, I'm almost never cold when I'm geared. Again - those 10lbs of water bloat are great for staying warm.
-
good point, on a carb and fats day, i steam.almost literaly.
looks like its diet and low bodyfat causing this.
but according to falcon you are just a gay dieter then ;D
-
who was that fat man?a really fat guy or an offseason bbuilder? ;D
An ex...off season bodybuilder.

We hit the converse in the summer, so it's an even trade off.

Fat is an insulator. It's like wearing an internal coat. I have seen fat guys sweating in freezing cold wearing shorts. Have you noticed the higher the body fat the quicker you sweat like a pig doing cardio? That's why ripped people can tolerate the heat better than fat people.
