mitt interrupted the crowd's chant and asked them to say his name too.
Did mitt listen to the msnbc mix? of course not.
Mitt wasn't hearing his name like he wanted, so he asked them to say it. Weird and awkward, and I'm wondering why you'd bump his awkward request for some of Paul Ryan's attention?
My entire post was "Ryan is the rock star here" - What are you disagreeing with? He is.

It is just the opposite 240, the crowd was cheering "Romney, Romney" and then Mitt said "Romney Ryan, Romney Ryan" (meaning to add "Ryan to the cheer)

yeah - I didn't know they said this. I've always said EVERY media organization has some slant. It's weak when some argue "well, MSNBC has SOME slant toward this but so-and-so is worse".
They're all entertainment companies using CURRENT EVENTS from the political and military arena to sell ad time.
They're not "delivery man of truth". They're just like E! Entertainment television or jersey shore. Entertainment.

What makes it even worse is that people who actually attended that rally called several talk shows (Hannity, Beck, Limbaugh, etc.), described what happened in detail, and exposed MSNBC big time.

neither network can really claim any moral high ground. No way fox 'accidentally' went back and inserted 2000 video footage to make mccain rallies more crowded during the 2008 run.
Neither network has the moral high ground to call out the other. Let people do that. Networks are entertainment companies that sell airtime. They have NO MORAL DUTY to do anything, other than make money for their stockholders. This is where people get confused and angry... msnbc is a channel just like mtv or Oxygen or espn. Fox is just like TNT or AMC. They make programming that a certain demographic will like. Period.

aaahhhhh - the moral equivalency argument again. ::)

no sweetie, i'm saying NO NETWORK has ANY OBLIGATION to tell you the truth. PERIOD.
just as snookie getting falldown drunk is staged for an MTV show, or Walter White making meth is fiction for a tv show... Analysis of current political events by any cable news network is ENTIRELY ENTERTAINMENT.
They can edit clips as they please. They're all full of shit. Do you get mad when you watch BET and see a rapper with fake jewelry? Do you get butthurt when you watch espn and Mike Ditka doesn't like your team's chances on sunday?
They're tv, dude. They're entertainment.
