OK, it's not Arnold, it's me.
Tip of the diving board on Half Dome. I benched pressed 400 on the summit. OK, I carried some water bottles and and 10 powerbars, but still. . . .

Any glute shots?

Too much eye shadow, would not hit.

You're a nut. I don't think I'd be able to handle that. The rock that is.

You'd be fine daddyo. Keep walking, grab those cables tight, stand on top. Easy.
Yosemite Valley, California. Make it out sometime.

I don't think everyone on here understands what it takes to summit the Half-Dome. Give them the background of how you need to start your hike before sunrise and post some pics showing the cable path up :o!
That is on my bucket list. I don't live anywhere near there so getting a permit is highly unlikely.

More importantly, did you bring your whey and glutamine with you?
You should check out Will Brinks latest video "Why your mountain climbing sucks and how to fit a bucket of whey up your anus". Very informative, with bell curves and all.

I think most cats here in decent condition could make the summit with a month or so of specific prep & training. No climbing skills are rquired, but you are correct that a very early start time is required to make the summit.
It's much easier to ascend in the dark than to descend in the dark. Permits were all taken but we were successful in the daily "lottery' and won six day use permits.
Our total time on the trail was a little over 10 hours. Climbing the cables is slow and requires patience but only requires pacing yourself and a little caution. We stayed on the summit for almost an hour. Big fun.
