Title: GALLUP

President Barack Obama moved back to a 5-point lead over Mitt Romney, halting the Republican nominee's post-debate momentum. Obama now leads Romney 50 percent to 45 percent in Gallup's daily tracking poll.

Romney had seen a big three-day post-debate move in the Gallup daily tracking poll, but today's results signal that his debate bump is beginning to level off.

Earlier on Monday, Gallup released results of three days of post-debate, which showed that Romney had tied up the race with Obama in those three days of interviews. It also found that Romney was the biggest winner in the history of the presidential debates.

Obama's approval rating — which has swung wildly in recent weeks — also ticked up to 51 percent, above the "safe" 50-percent threshold for an incumbent's re-election.

gallup was only credible when they were tied.  I like unskewereddrudgerushpoll s.com, a truly honest website with no track record but plenty of the numbers i agree with.

Are conservatives in denial?

Or is Mitt winning still a certainty?

in order for his his winning to be a certainty, we have to accept the mainstream media AND 99% of polling organizations are all 'in the tank' for obama - including rassmussen.

Also, FOX is in the tank because they won't address the fact obama is trailing badly.

It's the only logical explanation.  First all of these states hid the birth certificate issue, now they are hiding the actual polling results, ozmo.

this poll has data from before the debate...

In the first national poll taking in only data from after the debate obama is losing.

Listen to the way the liberals are panicking. That's hardly the sign of someone allegedly up by 5 points.

They're blaming Kerry, the moderator, the altitude, a secret handkerchief.....it gets sillier by the day.

don't worry, if obama wins debate #2 or #3, it'll be the repubs using those same excuses.

In other words, rather than investigate the data behind the unskewed polls, you'd rather make silly statements.

Plus, I didn't criticize Gallup one way or the other.

Pew and RAS has Romney up post debate.   Gallup still has pre debate numbers in the rolling average.
