Someone please explain to me about the "movie" that was made and the reaction to it.

This wasn't/isn't the only such video on youtube.  How is it that this particular video was linked to the violent reactions?

An Egyptian "sheikh" known for stirring up shit got wind of it and started ranting and raving about it.
