Title: Label Making software and printing....

I'm in the process of starting a very small "legit" business with 2 former co-workers of mine.  We need labels for our products, and potentially printed boxes.  We are leaning towards contracting this out to a third party, but what we are looking for seems pretty simple for the quotes we've been given.  There are actually Avery labels that are the size we need (3x4).

I was also thinking of some non-legitimate things I could do with this on the side as well.  What would be a good software to make labels on and a decent quality printer to use?
