You mean one of a half dozen states that, over the last three weeks, went from "Lean Obama" to "toss-up" in RCP?
If Romney is up by 6 he does not have to worry about Ohio.
He may get Ohio, after all. Blacken's chirping about Ohio, based on a PPP poll that has Obama up by six.
You want to dismember that one or shall I?
obama up by 4 ohio romney doesn't win ohio he doesn't win it's that easy ;D
I feel bad for you. November 7 you are going to wake up in pure misery and despair

Karl Rove: No Candidate Has Ever Lost With Numbers Like Mitt Romney Has Today (Video)

Karl Rove told Megyn Kelly today on America Live that no presidential candidate has ever lost an election leading with over 50 percent of likely voters in mid October. Mitt Romney has 51 percent of likely voters today.
“The Obama campaign has pulled down all of its negative advertising. And is now running virtually all positive ads in the battleground states heralding all the success of the last four years. This is very unusual because they have been constantly beating up on Romney. In recent weeks the president’s negatives have risen and Romney particularly after this debate has moved into a lead. You saw it in the Gallup poll you talked about. Six point lead, 51-45. Yesterday it was 50-46. This is the first time that Romney has hit 50 percent in the Gallup likely voter poll and the president has never hit 50 percent in the likely voter poll. And no candidate who has led in mid-October with 50 percent or more in the likely voter poll has ever gone on to lose.“

Check the RCP average. This time, 8 years ago, Bush was up 4 over Kerry. Obama is DOWN 0.4 to Romney, the survivor of the so-called "worst GOP field in history". And, as you posted, Team Hope-and-Change has all but thrown in the towel in FL, NC, and VA.
Wasn't it just a month ago, that the libs were crowing that this was all over and Obama had it locked? I guess, contrary to a CNN republican commentator's musings, Slick Willie's speech didn't seal the deal for Obama, after all.
This time, 8 years ago,
People are very different 8 years later. Polls are different. Technology is much different.you already said obama has lost cracker jack...why are you flip flopping?
Dems played that 47% tape before the debates. My guess is that they have another october surprise to play about a week before the election.

The 47% tape made no difference, whatsoever.
Actually,
http://fivethirtyeight.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/09/28/sept-27-the-impact-of-the-47-percent/
Romney was basically in the same position in RCP, as well as Gallup and Rasmussen. And, after the first debate, Romney got a HUGE bounce. Either way you slice it, the "47%" comment was basically worthless. And, it wasn't for lack of trying. Team Obama's been running ads on this for weeks.
for 10 days after the 47% comment, he was on a downward trend.
he turned it around after that. But "the tape made no difference" is something I can't agree with. He went down after the tape. Did he recover? You betcha.

I just clicked the link on RCP and it took me to Gallup. You're RIGHT!!
But, but, but.....Obama won the debate Tuesday night; he's back!!!
Obama didnt win anything the other night. He lost big with his lies and bs.
ANDRE SAID HE WON IT, Dagnabit!!! And, that is that.....nevermind the economy, taxes, immigration, or healthcare. Never mind the EC count now in Romney's favor (slightly).
lot's of Republican said he won it too but who really care
the only win that matters is the election
If Obama wins (which I believe he will) how soon after it is announced will the right wing start with their CT's and excuses
Afterall, Obama is supposedly the worst POTUS in history (according to the right) so this should be a cakewalk for any Republican
Think 1984 style loss for obama.
Afterwards - i will give you the reasons why whether you want to accept it or not.
the incumbant POTUS won in 1984
Is that what you're referring too
you can spare me your insane reasons and just keep your word to quite posting @ 99,999
unless of course you're a liar
Obama is no reagan.
Obama is karl marx

Or, Obama is running against the survivor of the "worst GOP field of history" AND he's the incumbent. it should be a cakewalk for him. Now he's losing. And this is after a debate he supposedly won, no less.
How is Obama going to win this election again?
that's not what Repubs were saying leading up to the nomination of their party
all they could talk about was how Obama was THE WORST POTUS EVER
That WAS what the Dems were saying, during the GOP primary. After Bin Laden got killed, Obama was supposed to have it locked, regardless of who the GOP challenger was. Now, to mention we heard all the comments about how tough it is to unseat an incumbent president.
That's hardly the case, now.
So, HOW does Obama make the comeback.

by getting more votes on election day
that's all that matters and if Romney wins they so be it
I'm sure you'll feel the same if Obama wins... right?

Perhaps, I should spell it out for you.
After two debates, Obama is DOWN in the polls. Less than three weeks and one debate remain. And, now, Romney is beating him in the EC count.
How is Obama going to get those votes on election day? What's he going to say or do NOW (what he's done to this point ain't working)?
by people showing up to VOTE
wtf don't you get about that
if enough show up and vote for Obama then he wins
If enough show up and vote for Romeny then he wins
It was only a few weeks ago the Repubs were all saying the polls weren't correct when Romeny was losing
I assume now they have no problem at all with the very same pols now that they are showing Romeny winning
That part is obvious, GENIUS! The question is (and remains) what is Obama going to do to GET THEM OUT TO THE POLLS to vote for HIM?
It appears you're playing dumb again (and on pace to get the gold for doing it).
Unlike you and the other TK members, we actually look at the internals of the polls to make sure they're legit. Same goes for things like the unemployment number. We knew that state leads with Obama way ahead, with samples of Democrats in much larger numbers than what normally occur in that particular area, were questionable.
As things tighten and the polls more closely reflect the ACTUAL demographics of a region (what a surprise!!), we see tighter races with Romney winning or Obama winning by a whisker in some cases and Romney pulling away in others.
so your belief is that due to current Polls that people just won't show up
if not then what exacly are you saying
Yes.
There is a 13 point enthuisasm gap right now and Obama is not going to get the # of votes in big states like CA, NY etc that prop up some of his polling.
Its going to be like 1984 or even possibly 1972
Top GOP pollster on Gallup's 7-pt Romney lead nationally among likely voters: "There is nothing I am looking at that resembles that data."
