does anyone else do rear delts with back workout as opposed to chest/shoulders? i know they're technically part of the shoulder muscles, but they seem to correspond more with back exercises than they do with shoulders. and also, will working rear deltoids on a different day than anterior and lateral delts create an imbalance of some sort? thanks!

I actually do rear delts with my normal delt workout and do 4 sets of rear laterals with back as well

I work rear Delts with my shoulder +arms workout and they hit the upper back area too.. depends how your workouts are spaced out. I train back on Monday then delts on Friday so it really does not matter. Rear Delts are worked on back day with rows and rear laterals on Friday... so you could do them on either Day. I would still train the rear delts directly on a shoulder day and let the rows on back day do the rest..most people have weak rear delts so train them...Hard.

I do rear DELTS when i Do my DELTS...If you do the proper rom and form you can kind of isolate rear delts on shoulder day...

I like rear delts with back work. This also includes traps as well. They get a lot more trashed than they do on just a general shoulder day.
