Title: Is Pablo Sandoval on the sauce this playoffs?
Post by: whitewidow on October 25, 2012, 05:24:17 AM
Geez! Pablo pandoval has gone off this playoff season 6 homeruns in the playoffs this year.
Pablo hit 3 homeruns his first 3 at bats game one of the finals and finished it off with a single
4-4. This guy is on fire! he only hit 12 homeruns during the regular season and has hit 6 just in the playoffs and the first world series game! that is 6 homeruns just in the playoffs! He looks like he is juicing! or is he just dialed in?

Have you seen how fat Kung Fu Panda is?  And this is after he LOST about 20lbs. He has been hot since the playoffs started and he had Verlanders number. He triped off him in the All Star game. If i was Detroit, id pitch around him

I don't think they test at all! if they do they hide the results usually or alter them. If he had been juiced up during the regular season why only 12 homeruns? The man upped his dose!

Babe Ruth hit homeruns all day long and all he did was eat 10-15 hotdogs on the train ride to the game! no joke.

Here we go again...

Ruth played in an era where no minorites were allowed, relief pitchers ,no closers,

Babe Ruth only got fast balls and curves  around 75 mph.....  from factory workers .

Can't remember the Negroe's name but he played at the same time as Ruth, they said if he was able to play in the MLB that all of the records would have been his and untoucheable forever.

This is true, but so did everyone else at the time.  That's why when you compare players from different eras, it's better to look at their deviations from the league averages.

Ruth still proves to be incredible, as his production is so distant from that of a league average player at the time, it's almost comical.

Ruth also had a ton of wins as a pitcher.

Baseball back then was a little different.  Guys would work all day in a factory then show up to play professional baseball at night.  Most had no time to hit a gym due to their full time job.

LOL...maybe two or  3 black players?

I heard that before,  "if Chet Yorton and Larry Scott were competing today they would  have been winning Mr.O by dozens"....yeah right "evolution" is a fallacy... only sports.

In the Babe Ruth "hey days" they were only curves and Fast ball "2 seam"  I think coming at him......
Today you have 12 quality pitches ,

In Babe Ruth's days nobody threw a fastball over 90mph

You know how many pitchers throwing over 90mph each MLB team has today ? Asian, latinos black?

Sorry Babe Ruth would have been a mediocre Triple  A player by today's standars .... guys like Greg Maddux and Pedro Martinez (today's Pedro's Bday btw) striking out his bambino ass with different piches every time.....

Cutter,splitter,breaking,fork,slider,slurve,screwball,changeup,palmB,circle,changeup, etc....

Ruth would be like  "can I get a hot dog?"

If you consider that the Yankees were the first team to have a complete roster of baseball players only "working "as baseball players, you'll see it was not fair for the rest of the league, many people dont know that but you had a guy 5'7" working in a factory,no medical coverage and then pitching  a complete game and then facing Bambino.....   what a joke !   I would hit a HR everytime agaisnt a guy like that .even without a bat.

Yet Ruth was the only guy to put up those numbers.   Yes, I realize that most player built skyscrapers and waited in line for soup in the offseason, but Ruth still gets mad credit since nobody else was close.

But  I also agreee that today's players are just so much better athletically.

He hit 12 HR's this year because he only played in 108 games and slumped badly in august and september. If he would have not missed time due to injury he would have easily hit 20 bombs. Just last year he hit 23 HR's in only 117 games.

He's a 2 time all star and a career .300 hitter. Its not like he just all of the sudden had a good game.

The guy is a heckuva player. Give credit where credit is due.

Small ball Park, was built small to favor left handed batters, ERRR was buit just for barry bonds and his home run chase

Negative sir.  AT & T gave up the fewest home runs in all of Baseball in 2011 and 2012.  Very tough park to homer in.

They also charge $11 for a 20 oz. Coors Light draft beer.  >:(

Exactly! Thats why the giants hit the least amount of HR's in baseball this season.

With the wind constantly blowing and the deep fences ATT is easily the toughest ballpark to hit a home run in in baseball.

He is no, Albert pujols,Babe ruth, or reggie Jacson yet he goes down in history with those 3 players for hitting 3 homeruns in a world series game. I think he is a good player but it is odd how he is hitting the ball out of the park so easy! and giants stadium is the hardest park to homer in. He is probably just on fire and in the zone. But you never know as far as victor conte is concerned every player is on some AAS or designer AAS or stimulant. seen it come out of his rat mouth on 20/20
