Title: Other Milk besides Cow

Just curious, what other types of Milk are you using for your shakes?

Almond seems to be gaining notoriety but else are you using?

I tried almond milk for the first time at my cousin's house last night. It's probably not fair to judge its taste since it was the chocolate flavor with 22g of sugar per serving (her kids love it, but I know she and her husband drink it, too). The stuff she had almost reminded me of soy milk as far as taste, and I'm not sure how good the plain variety is.

I would seriously avoid soy for reasons we've mentioned here.

I have used water in my shakes for the past 11 years and would never go back to using milk.

Animal milks in reality are a rather odd concept.

Why?
Humans are animals in the scientific sense. Infants consume human milk.

Animal meat of some kind is a staple in many people's diets. Why should milk be any different?

Says the man who religiously used the Blair formula...
So much of that "documentary" was an act, but it sold, and continues to sell today.

i do not drink milk much anymore... as for almond milk, we make our own (commercial almond milk is an unhealthy stew of chemicals)

i like to add 35% cream to my shakes along with water

Oh yeah for sure.  The commentary regarding the making of the movie is as interesting as the movie itself!

There are some parts that are actually more interesting to consider now, knowing the "real" stories behind them.
