Aaron Rodgers Is Very Sensitive About His Height
Video of guy telling rodgers he is short and rodgers getting upset in link

60 Minutes ran a profile of Aaron Rodgers last night, and it was, as is customary for most of their non-tennis sports segments, not really designed for sports fans. (Did you know the Packers play in a small town, but have won a lot of championships, and their fans really love the team? I hope you didn't, because Scott Pelley spent nearly half the piece hammering that home.)
Rodgers's late growth spurt isn't new ground either; in his E:60 profile last year, we learned he wasn't recruited out of high school because he was just 5'11", 165 pounds. But he's clearly still very salty about it, even three inches and 60 pounds later. One poor fan who won a contest to meet him, clearly the high point of the guy's life, made the mistake of telling Rodgers he looks smaller in person. Bad move.
Why did that send Rodgers into a full-on sulk?
"You know I— I just that, that's one of the more ridiculous comments that could be thrown at me is that. Especially coming from somebody who's 5'7"."
Later in the segment, Greg Jennings and Clay Matthews explain that this doesn't surprise them—Rodgers takes a lot of things personally.
Jennings: He's sensitive. So you got to be careful what you say around him.
Matthews: Real sensitive.
Jennings: You know, he takes everything to heart.
Pelley: What kind of things are you talking about?
Jennings: Like once he sees this interview, he's going to be sensitive to what, the fact that we're saying he's sensitive.
Matthews: Yeah. So, I'll compliment him on the clothes he wears. Just make him feel good. And consequently he'll go out, feel good, play good, make us feel good. So, we just, you know, give him a pat on the back every once in a while.
Pelley: A little quarterback management?
Both: Absolutely.
That's OK. QBs are human too. But it's delightful and maybe a little incongruous that Aaron Rodgers's teammates need to give him daily affirmations to keep him from moping like a sullen teenager.

He sounds like a real bitch.
-
Great a short MF that doesn't pay his bets
http://www.tmz.com/2012/09/11/aaron-rodgers-yeah-i-made-that-bet-but-im-totally-wussing-out/
-
He's listed at 6'2, bet he's 5'11,, lol :D
-
Damn, I guy that good at what he does and is a total Beta. Even the guys on his team have to pump his tires all the time. Who would have thunk it.
-
Sounds like the fans of other teams he plays could really get into his head with little effort. Maybe ebomb the Packers site with ARodgers Memes.

You can tell just by the way he looks on his commercials.
-
Meh. Who cares. Everyone has stupid shit of their own. He's still a top 3 QB depending on who you ask currently in the NFL. Would you rather have this guy on your team, or some thug who has more rapes than tackles. At least there's no "Rodger's Rule" unlike one of the other QBs in the NFL

Tom Brady
Payton Manning
Drew Breeze
Ben Roethlisberger
Eli Manning
Aarron Rogers

He's ahead of Eli and Ben. Also, Clay Mathews is pretty funny. I like his fathead commercial.

That's a pretty comical list you got there Nails :)

Rings don't make you a great QB. Does that mean flacco was the best of his time? Tim tebow could've won a ring with that defense
-

That makes no sense.
-
How does that not make sense? Dilfer won a Superbowl but he was no where near an elite QB. Arguing a ring makes you the best QB makes no sense... I could argue and say it makes the giants have the best center because he has a ring. If football was 1v1 then it may be a little different
-Sorry I meant Dilfer in my original post, not Flacco. I'm a dumbass ;D But yea. Anyone who says Dilfer was a top 5 or even top 10 QB when he won a ring is just a flat out idiot. He was paid not to throw an interception or fumble. Didn't matter if he threw for 50 yards they still managed to win

Your right, joe montana was garbage, if it wasn't for Jerry rice, roger Craig, Ronnie Lott, Charles hailey, Matt Millen and Bill Romanoski , joe would never have one shit
-
I know right. Dan Marino was a piece of shit. Dude never won a ring, poor guy. Tebow could school him, legend my ass ;D

Exactly,
Dan Marino had a legendary coach, grey wide receivers and a decent defense , yet his ego was so large he refused to be a team player and have a running game , his talent/ego kept him from ever being a champion
-
Tom Brady
Payton Manning
Drew Breeze
Ben Roethlisberger
Eli Manning
Aarron Rogers
Clearly you're new to this
-
Clearly you're new to this
Your saying you wouldn't take big ben as your Qb???
He is one of the best escape QB in the league after the play breaks down, and is 5th in quarterback rating this season
And btw I hate Pittsburg and rapeherburger

He wasn't a team player. Wouldn't allow them to have a running game. Was supposedly coked out of his mind most of his career...

yup, i was a huge marino fan as a kid, had his jersey, almost all his cards including rookie card, but the dude threw the ball 60 times a game with the run and shoot 5 receivers (no tight end or running backs)
Heard he also failed his drug test thats why he feel some spots in the draft

Aaron Rodgers Is Very Sensitive About His Height
(http://i.cdn.turner.com/si/2010/writers/don_banks/11/16/nfl-playoff-picture/aaron-rodgers-tx1.jpg)
if this fella is so sensitive, i hope he never sees this picture? wtf , lol ???
-
The fact of the matter is he broke the all time best qb rating in a season, currently has 5 more td passes than the second most in the NFL, and can actually run with the ball much better than Brady or Manning(both). Sure he's still somewhat new, but give it a couple more seasons and he will be right up there with the best of all time. It's not even a matter of if, it's a matter of when.
Also the thing about Marino, Favre, Montana, etc is that they played during the time where the league wasn't 1/2 as passer friendly as it is today. If you look back when Favre won 3 MVPs there was NO one putting up those kind of numbers. Now those numbers are more or less average even to non elite QBs.

ill take Bradys 21 consecutive games winning streak and then another 18 games winning streak over any record by Rodgers
-
Rodgers had a 19 game win streak. How long has Brady been playing? Since 2001? Compared to Rodgers in 2008? A LOT can happen in 7 years. Like I said, maybe not now, but he will go down as a hall of famer and one of the all time greats to play QB...
And wait isn't this a sensitive thread? Who's the guy that threw a hissy fit when Randy Moss made fun of his hairdo? ;D

LOL didn't even know that one. Great stuff ;D

No, I'm saying Ben is #1. He's the total package as far a QB's go.
When Pittsburgh is 100% healthy they're the greatest team in NFL history with the roster they have this season.

Funny how Eli beat both when it mattered and Brady twice

WTF are you talking about! Didn't allow them to have a running game! Coked out of his mind, you must be confusing him with Lawrence Taylor!

personally always hated marino, talk about a average overrated quarterback not to mention a hypocrite,etcetera....
i remember last year or was it 2 years ago when on the pregame NFL show, they were talking about jay cutler ( the bears quarterback) and for a "joke" i guess the producers or directors put up jay cutler the bodybuilder photo as mr.olympia blown up like poster size on the screen, marino make a sickening face, and said something like " that is gross" and "that is so wrong, what a weirdo this cutler is, etcetera, etcetera"....
yes, it's much better to be a cokehead, adulterer, out of shape, etcetera! what a douche....
hey, i'm not saying being a pro bodybuilder is the greatest achievement one can make in their life either. but to reach a goal, to be the best in the world at it, to make a great living doing what you love, your not harming anyone, etcetera like cutler has done winning his mr.olympia's is NOT something anyone should knock in my opinion mr. marino..

No one respects bodybuilding/bodybuilders. It is equivalent to an underground cult. Its akin to being the best in the world playing hop scotch, no one in a serious sport cares. In fact, I'd say that the worlds greatest hop scotch player would get more respect than Mr. Olympia.
