Title: Ok I voted Romney. and Ron Paul. Why did you vote obama?
Post by: magikusar on November 07, 2012, 07:50:33 PM: I am trying to understand from my objectivist polytheistic pro postitution point of view why people voted for obama.

PLease post your reasons.

I voted for Mitt in general for:
1 lowering deficit by cutting spending, esp gov waste and faery tale green 90B as obama did "down drain" projects
2 less regulation of business so products can be produced cheapr making all richer poor to trump

Post by: tbombz on November 07, 2012, 09:35:25 PM: because despite all the nonsense to the contrary, the nations problems arent due to obama's policies. and because obama is extremely pragmatic, moderate, diplomatic, charasmatic, and just a damn fine guy to have representing the country.

Romneys tax breaks +increased military spending would have increased the deficit

debt was about 10 trillion when he took office.. was going to increase by a trillion per year no matter who was president..

forced unionizing of fedex.. sorry, havent heard anything about that so i cant address it..

fast and furious.. an attempt to track the carte that failed miserably.. placing blame on obama for the operation would be misguided i think, since the president most likely wouldnt be involved in the planning or executing of it..

crushing business under taxes? well, he hasnt increased taxes.. he extended the bush tax cuts.. and lowered taxes for small business.. so im not sure whta your taling about.

fannie and freddy.. well, he put in dodd frank which is supposed to increase regulatory power so that bad loans and risky behavior doesnt happen..
