Also when the 'Day in the Life' documentary was shot, he preferred that it was shot in his old apartment where he did the vast majority of his contest prep. Mainly so the audience would not be distracted by the rewards reaped by his success.

Poor families need stable, public housing, and it's unethical to use the quarters merely for storage.
