This is the 3rd thread. I think we all agree Sam has mad skills for a little girl. Crazy stuff, if you are her dad watching her on the field producing like that against boys.

I would say low center of gravity with those crazy cuts she makes, but that doesn't matter much at the peewee league level.  she's pretty fast, especially in the straight for an 8 yr old girl against taller and bigger boys.  kids, esp boys, burn out, but i don't know about girls, since she is the first i've seen that good in a contact sport.  boys will be too big for her by 11-12, so i might start moving her over to track, if i was her dad, and let her play kicker or something, if she wants to continue with football.  you can't coach speed, and she might develop into a crazy 100 or 200 meter runner by high school, if they keep her active.

Not to mention that she'll be stuffing the rest of the team into her cooch a couple years after that.

Great speed,once the boys hit puberty they will be just as fast or faster, prob get a free ride to college for track, no way she is a high school running back...

she'll get peppered with a Jr High Team (6-8th grade), is good to the 4th grade playing contact ball.  Then, it's off to soccer and track practice.  Even at a young age, she knows her limits with boys.

BTW, there was girl in my elementary school, who was a gunner like her.  She went on to win State in the 100 and 200 in high school years later in Louisiana.  Of course she didn't play football.  Her speed for a girl is natural.  You don't coach that.
