This is a crook of shit..the only entity that would break is the government..the gov does not control the sales of corporations and the free market...the financial system has came back very well since the depression and corporations have never had so much cash in the balance sheets ..the free market self sustains ..it needs no help from gov..the population keeps growing and spending..taxes would be the only problem, but the gov has too many bright minds...they wouldn't let it collapse..we have hundreds other ways to raise taxes.our population is too larger

So said the Ancient Egyptians, and the Greeks, The Romans, and the Babylonians. All the former great empires have all fallen. The US Empire will be no different. It too will fall.

Of course it will, just not anytime soon, not in our lifetimes.

You're failing to grasp the concept of accelerated geometric progression in a world of finite resources.

Demand for long term low yielding government bonds is insane right now. Also,  most of the nations on the planet are economically bound to u.s. Currency.

If these ancient civilizations had nukes, the other nations of the world would have been forced to 'play ball'.

I think our many bases, weapons, and advanced technology means things won't be collapsing any time soon.  And I used to be a guy who always thought it would.

Today, I feel we'll see a huge dropoff in quality of life due to our economy being in the crapper - but it'll be gradual.  If 2008 didn't collapse the dollar - and it sure should have - then I don't think everyday bumps and bubbles will do it.

The US just keeps making deals or threats... ask saddam or kadaffi what happens when they started messing with the dollar.  Sure, bigger nations will lessen the dollar use and trade directly, which will lead to this slow erosion, but I think the US will twist enough arms to keep afloat.   The USA is the dude sleeping on your couch with an AK-47.  You want to demand rent or kick him out, but he did blast the last 2 roomies who tried to serve eviction papers...

Can you tell us more about "accelerated geometric progressions" please? As someone with a degree in Mathematics, I'd love to hear more on the topic!

Liberal ideology and a complete lack of commonsense will be the collapse of the American economy.

You're failing to grasp the concept of people laughing at those who spam internet message boards with useless products and even more useless opionions.
