The Next Mitt Romney:GOP Establishment trumpets another Great Moderate Hope -- Jeb Bush

Jeb was neutral.

Say again, neutral.

As Ronald Reagan might say, there he went again.

What was Jeb Bush neutral about?

The choice between liberal Charlie Crist and conservative Marco Rubio for the Republican nomination for United States Senator from Florida.

Oh, he finally came around. After then-Governor Crist endorsed the Obama stimulus, this was a bridge too far even for former Governor Bush.

But when others were out there at the barricades for an unknown conservative Marco Rubio at the very beginning? When Mark Levin was, typically, out there first to give the conservative underdog some much needed attention with appearances on his show? Where was Jeb?

Say again: Jeb was neutral.

Why does this seemingly small detail amount to anything?

Over the Thanksgiving holidays, the New York Times ran this story on its front page, headlined as follows:

Jeb Bush in 2016? Not Too Early for Chatter

The paper might as well have had another headline:

Jeb Bush in 2016? Here Comes the Next Mitt Romney

Who do you think has reasonable chance that you would vote for in 2016?

Don't know.  Christie perhaps even though I am still pissed off at him.  My hope is for Rand Paul to rise.

Rubio I don't trust something about him.

As for Bush - NO FNG WAY.

Jeb Bush meets with campaign operatives

Bush Meets with Campaign Operatives
Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R) met with a group of his former staffers at a Washington, D.C. hotel, National Review reports.

"Bush, a potential 2016 presidential contender, spent an hour in the hotel's Cannon room, reminiscing and entertaining questions about his political future... Neil Newhouse, Mitt Romney's campaign pollster, was at the meeting, as were several veteran Florida operatives."

Why are you mad with Gov Christie

Because Christie Cream handed Obama a victory when none was deserved at that point and licked obama's ass like it was chocolate flavored whipped cream.

I know it's happened many times but I really don't like have Presidents in the same family.  Let's mix it up a little bit people.

You talking about the Storm Sandy?

Cmon you are being unreasonable. Dudes State was fucked and there was a need some immediate help. Obama being the president supplied federal help. He was grateful and Christie wasnt playing politics at the time.

He complimented him on a job well done.

I think this will help him.

He is not a hatefilled man like you he wants to make things work.

Thats the kind of people who gets somewhere despite the hate filled obstructionists

Oh boy.

The federal government did their job and Obama is the boss of the government.
If Microsoft had done something Christie would have complimented Bill G.

Its really not that complicated.

Rubio I don't trust something about him.

Rubio is just too eager to please.  He's not jaded yet.  He's still all paper and theory.   In 8 years, Rubio will be ready.  He will be ready for veep in 2016, definitely.  But he's not presidential yet.  You KNOW presidential when you see it - the person COMMANDS the attention of the room when he/she enters.

if Rubio's last name was "Reynolds" and he was an irish dude from Iowa, he woudln't be on anyone's presidential list with his short ass resume.

agreed.   america wins when both parties run solid, safe candidates.  you KNOW what they'll both be - she will be a moderate version of obama, he will be a neocon with a hispanic twist.  safe choices.  Mitt?  Most people here admitted they had no clue what he'd do as president.
