did you gents know the feds are giving billions to CA to build trains

this means that democrat crony states can suck blood from republican lean n mean states

so dems can do whatever they want despite the will of the people

is this not friggin fascism?

in 30 years the people of california are going to be so enthusiastically supportive of the high speed rail and will look at jerry brown as a visionary. the rest of the country will envy us.. as they do now. and have always.  ;)

I don't envy you, you're more of an inspiration to me.  I figure if a kid with down syndrome can be so positive why can't I?

That rail idea is comedy. The state is bleeding red ink. Huge deficit.  No one wants that train. No one needs that train. Our 70 year old governor is a senile whack job.

Projected cost for the train is approximately $60,000,000,000. Yes, $60 BILLION. There are currently three (3) Highways that cover the territory the train would serve. There are hundreds of daily flights on numerous airlines. AMTRACK is already there.  The idea is insane.

Trains are old technology.  They should build a network of electromagnetic pathways and then issue all residents with special shoes so they can glide to work in the morning.  If someone is on drugs or misbehaving Central Control can just reverse the polarity of his shoes and he'd be stuck to the path until the police arrive.
