IMO, unless you are about to turn pro, no need to do 1 gram of test. I dont go about 500mg of test and switched over to tren enant.
Ive ran 500mg of test alone and still stayed pretty full. You just have to be on point with your diet

that was my old stack i use to do 1 gram of test stack with proviron and dinabol, once i got to 260 i had the cazy notion to go even more hardcore and blow up to 300 pounds gladly i came to my senses and now i am just concentrating on getting ripped.

500 mgs of test every 5 days will keep the average gym rat growing and with a good diet the envy of every other guy at the gym.
Do this for 12 to 16 weeks then take off 6-8 and keep repeating.
Add some orals in for 4 to 6 weeks at a time like dbol, drol, winny, or var and your good to go.

I think if you can keep it as an experiment, something you try once or twice in a lifetime, then it's kind of an adventure. If it's something you do every week to feel "normal", then you become a loser.

Goals and body type are also factors. I just don't like test personally, I hold too much water on it.

yes theyre for men who dont feel like growing up, for unfortunately, for decent physique, theres no way around them
250mg of test weekly is enough for most ppl, if they get enough rest and good food.
500mg should keep most gymrats full at all times,even during diet.yes even if they have a job,haha.
for non competitors i dont see any reason to go beyond that.
if one doesnt grow on 500mg test, he never will, or hes doing some things wrong.
on 500mg test weeekly, not even the 2 lbs gramms protein per bodyweight has to be followed to get growth for someone with halfway good genetics.
u eat 2g per lb bodyweight? wow that is alot, i eat slightly under 1.5g /lb

dht derivates however cannot be affected by finasteride and thus should be avoided

Depends on your body's receptors and genetics. But that is still low for amateur bbing.

Remember a hard training natural is producing roughly 15-20mg of test a day during their peak years. That's 140mg a week. Any increase over that would surely make a noticeable difference.

I have seen people get nice visable gains off 250mg. A lot of people saying you need a gram a week are using bunk UGL, that equals 500mg.

This. I make noticeable gains cruising on 250 a week on straight from the pharmacy test. Obviously you aren't going to win any national level contests, but with legit gear it's almost impossible not to gain even on small amounts. I don't personally like taking a lot of long estered test and keep it at around 500/week max and use mostly mast/tren/primo for the bulk of my dosing.

First cycle I did was Aeratest 250 and Loeffler Sustonton, totaling 500mg a week and put on 23 lbs. I was down about 7 lbs in weight starting, but I was able to keep all gains after with PCT and after three months was heavier than when on and stronger with no extra fat.

yeah, and some people on 2 grams a week + hgh claim they're on an HRT dose, its called bullshit.
