How many of you studs would change your last name to your super rich wife's in marriage?

Is it a prerequisite for marriage?  I know a guy whose women wanted him to change his last name to hers because she hated his family.  We talked him out of that.

I think it is more tradition that anything.  But you are killing off your family name and lineage.  You have kids and they won't have your family name.

many women today don't take their husband's last name, or they hyphenate the name. Same deal.
