Thank to the great thread from MCWAY on Leory Colbert i decided to start a thread in respect to Ric Drasin who makes great interviews on Rics Corner. They are always a joy to watch and Ric shows both wit and intelligence. Ric was a good wrestler too and also a Bodybuilder who trained with the greats. Great man.

You're welcome. I like listening to the old-school bodybuilders tell their tales of yore. It's almost like listening to your grandfather or uncle tell fireside stories.
And, in the case of Colbert, it just shows that you can get swole without anabolics.

Yup. I like that tricep exercise. In fact, that sort of machine feels junky to me if I don't do it that way.

the guy next to him was looking at him grinning... probably did not realize who he was.
-
He's a likeable guy, but he's also an ass kisser and attention addict as well, sensitive for criticism.

Jerry is a genuine guy with a scientific mindset. He's esp an expert in amino acids.
He's cut ties with Ric.

I actually subscribe to Brainums newsletter (which I only learned about by watching one of his videos with Ric)
They seemed friendly enough with each other
why they rift?

Jerry criticized Ric for being an attention addict and that he wasn't critical at all when Rich Piana came with bro science theories.

I've noticed that he is not the greatest interviewer. He constantly interrupts and gets the person he is talking to off track.
I noticed this when he interviewed an 80 something year old guy (can' recall his name at the moment) who still trained hard and was in great shape. All I wanted was to hear how this guy trains, diets, drugs etc.. and Ric wouldn't let him get two sentences together before interrupting him. He definitely seems sensitive to criticism too and it does seem odd that he has RP on so often given that he is the antithesis of the "golden age" that Ric talks about so much.
