you're kidding right?
the 80s music pretty much sucked ass, except for the police, talking heads and genesis, but this tune is tight
new wave was about the only good genre in the 80s, but even it started in the 70s
and micheal jackson's off the wall was pretty damn good actually

It sounds like the opening theme to LA law.
The Eagles were great but I was never a big fan of Glenn Frey's solo stuff.
you seem to have a preference for limp-wristed MOR soft rock, that stuff makes me want to vomit.
Geneisis died as far as I'm concerned when Peter Gabriel left, they turned into a pop band. "Ababcab" was good and that was it. Never purchased a Phil Collins record in my life....ugh.
as far as the 80's I would agree, to a degree. when most people think of the 80s they think of MJ, Bruce springsteen, whitney houston, Phil Collins, "the breakfast club" bands, the Hair metal bands....there was a lot more going on than that. U2 to state the obvious answer

what about the cars, petty, and halen? they put out some good stuff in the 80s, although they all basically started in the mid-late 70s
another one of my fav limp-wristed mid-late 70's early 80s band was ambrosia ;D
in fact, ambrosia started out as a prog rock band

hence the reason i said "there was a lot more going on than that" ....I didn't want to write a top 100 list of 80's bands that were good.
