CBO predicts another trillion-plus deficit in FY 13, fifth year in a row over $1 trillion.
CBO: Deficit for first 2 months of FY13 was $292 billion. That's nearly 3/4 what Obama proposes to cut in entitlements over next decade.
CBO: Spending in first two months of FY13 was four percent higher than same period in FY12.
CBO: Obama’s Plan To Tax The Rich Would Reduce Deficit By Zero Dollars
Raising taxes on the rich was the cornerstone of President Obama’s reelection campaign. “If we’re serious about reducing the deficit,” Obama told a rally in Columbus, Ohio, on election day, “we’ve got to ask the wealthiest Americans to go back to the tax rates they paid when Bill Clinton was in office.”
But just how much deficit reduction would Obama’s tax hikes on the rich necessarily accomplish?
Nothing, according to the Congressional Budget Office.

It a multi faceted plan...... ::)
Besides the rich are just shoving the savings into offshore accounts and taking it out of circulation for americans........It doesnt Trickle down...LMAO

As with regular citizens, certain businesses are exempt from paying federal tax under the law but this does not make them exempt from paying other taxes such as payroll. When you hear of a company "not paying any tax" it's not true. They pay on other taxes.

Business's wont hire until consumers start spending. And if you owned a business youd know that payroll is a deduction...meaning you owe less taxes.
And yes. 1.6 trillion will make a difference. But we'll need to cut military spending and subsidies to rich people and business's.....theres your spending cuts..its called a balanced approach.

These numbers are actually blatantly false. But don't take my word for it: only the most basic arithmetic skills are needed to prove that to yourself.
Which makes me wonder, why do you (and people like you) feel the need to exaggerate and outright lie about an actual serious issue? All it does is hurt your position when people ask why you lie and give bullshit numbers? Are you really stupid enough to believe the numbers you quote or so you believe that lying is, somehow, acceptable?
Grow up and treat the matter seriously; then maybe we will have a chance to reform the tax system to be more rational.

According to http://www.taxpolicycenter.org/numbers/displayatab.cfm?Docid=2971&DocTypeID=7 for 2011 the actual number works out to 26.7%. It may surprise you to know this but "26.7" isn't "90+".
There's little doubt that most Americans who pay taxes pay a lot. Taxes should go down; the numbers prove that handily without needing to be manipulated by you and without you having to lie through your teeth.
So either debate truthfully, based on facts and hard numbers, or sit the fuck down and shut the fuck up "hoss" because you and you ilk along with your inflammatory, hyperpartisan invective that's full of lies, half-truths, assertions and innuendos are part of the problem.

The same is true for low income people and you dont defend them?
Crusader for the rich are we?
