If this was dinner for three, as the drinks would indicate, $7.50 for a steak dinner isn't bad. My favorite restaurant for steak in Portland is The Ringside. The last time my wife and I were there, I had the 9 oz. Filet Mignon at $38. Everything else is a la carte. Great atmosphere, excellent service and the steaks melt in your mouth.

The waiter used a mnemonic that wasn't flattering to the customers...and the restaurant's computer system...as computer systems are so prone to do when all possible mistakes are not anticipated by the programmers/users...ackwardly printed the mnemonic on the receipt..."fat girls"

Nope, but after eating a big meal that would probably be a plan.
We prefer to go to the Ringside on S.W. Burnside. However, the steaks are just as good at either location.
With the cost of a dinner at the Ringside, we aren't regulars. Anyway, living in West Linn, there are plenty of good restaurants that are closer to home and less expensive.
Even more economical is buying steak at Costco and cooking it on the grill at home.
