This is a tough one to argue because both sides love to tilt the argument in their favor with real and fudged statistics. The US government seldom tracks how many crimes were stopped by legal gun owners, the last official DOJ paper I recall on this was in the mid 90's, and it stated around 100,000 crimes were reported stopped annually by firearms owners.

Yes. Do it. Learn how to scan a crowd, learn how to clear a house, learn how to handle multiple targets. Be aware of your surroundings. Teach your wife and children. Otherwise the state will decide it needs to do it for you. And for everyone else.

Thanks guys ever since 911, I`ve felt the need to see america as real first world country.
Thanks for reminding me not only do you have a brown guy for prez, a bankrupt economy, no border with mexico, no public healthcare, shit public schools, zero urban planning or public transit, but you also need to have a gun between your legs at all times to feel safe.
