Nah its about control and Increasing gun sales. Panic buying will clear out counters and increase hoarding. By claiming obama is anti gun even though he has not done anything of the sort. they got the cash registers ringing.

Ben Swan is excellent, I wonder why he still has a job on MSM?  He has covered Ron Paul, the Patriot Act, and issues other media refuse to touch.

Please watch this one people:

Old article I think, relevant excerpt:

Then they took our guns

“Next came gun registration. People were getting injured by guns. Hitler said that the real way to catch criminals (we still had a few) was by matching serial numbers on guns. Most citizens were law abiding and dutifully marched to the police station to register their firearms. Not long afterwards, the police said that it was best for everyone to turn in their guns. The authorities already knew who had them, so it was futile not to comply voluntarily.

“No more freedom of speech. Anyone who said something against the government was taken away. We knew many people who were arrested, not only Jews, but also priests and ministers who spoke up.

Totalitarianism didn’t come quickly, it took 5 years from 1938 until 1943, to realize full dictatorship in Austria. Had it happened overnight, my countrymen would have fought to the last breath. Instead, we had creeping gradualism. Now, our only weapons were broom handles. The whole idea sounds almost unbelievable that the state, little by little eroded our freedom.”

“This is my eye-witness account.

Pip, wear should we draw the line? What kinds of weapons do you want to be/remain legal? machine guns? hollow tip rounds? silencers? tanks? jets with heat seaking missiles mounted? chemical and radiological weapons?  nuclear bombs?

honest question.   if you could give me a specific recommendation for where you would draw the line and what you reasoning is for placing it there, that would be much appreciated.

A weapon from which a shot is discharged by gunpowder.

SOME limits can be (CONSTITUTIONALLY) placed on this rights, as with our other rights.

Check out the videos tbombz, Ben Swann is extremely logical/fact based like yourself, I think you might enjoy them.

That is an amazing story - and I see a LOT of direct comparisons to the last 15-20 years.
