Title: Serious question

So my company notifies us the other day that they expect to lay off 60% of the work force in the next 1 1/2 years ( merry Christmas, right?). So I'm faceing unemployment and not really wanting to start over at the bottom of another company.  I'm seriously concidering knocking up my girlfriend and becoming a stay at home dad.  We both want kids, her sooner then later and she's a doctor.  What say you getbig?  Take pride in my job and start over some where else, or throw as much sperm her way as is physically possible?
